Cabbage caterpillar is the most common pest of the Cruciferous vegetables,its adult is called PierisrapaeLinne which has five kinds in the domestic ,they are PierisrapaeLinne、Pontia daplidice Linnaeus 、Pieris brassicae、Artogeia(Pieris)canidiaLinnaeus、Pieris melete Menetries.Among them,the PierisrapaeLinne is one of the most widely distributed and most serious harm pest in our country.The larvae of PierisrapaeLinne is called Cabbage caterpillar, it have 35 species host plants known ,but it mainly harms the Cruciferous vegetables.The above picture is the Cabbage caterpillar harming the Chinese cabbage and wild cabbage.
